PIONEER FAILS TO GET CLEARANCE FROM GAB; CAVITEX, NORTHPORT EARNS FIRST WIN IN PBA

Cavitex and Northport had their easy win in the PBA 3x3 Lakas Ng Tatlo as one of the players in the Pioneer Pro Tibay were not able to receive clearance from the Games and Amusements Board (GAB).

“One team is lacking for GAB to issue them a clearance to play,” said PBA 3×3 tournament director Joey Guanio.

Sabi rin ng ating league physician na that requirement should be submitted kasi the PBA will not risk the health of the players. Kailangan may clearance ng GAB and ng ating league physician,” Guanio added.

The Pro Tibay-squad was not able to be on the court yesterday against their match on Cavitex (3:15pm) and NorthPort (4:55pm) after failing to comply with the requirements.

Leaving the Pioneers of four active players —Robin Rono, Carlo Escalambre, Carlo De Chavez, and Gian Abrigo.

Nevertheless, the league affirmed that the team can still play if they will comply with the requirements.

“With this leg, if it hasn’t been complied with, hindi pa rin sila makakalaro but they can still come back.”
