The former Adamson standout showed the way for Nakhon Ratchasima after finishing with a game-high 28 points to take its first win in the 2021 Thailand League.

Paat once again showed her versatility as she aces in both offense and defense, ending their two-game skid to improve to a 1-2 slate in a tie with Kasetsart VC in the fifth spot.

The 27-year-old opposite hitter delivered immediately for the Devil Cat and seized the first two sets while battling head-to-head with Creamline’s former import Kuttika Kaewpin.

However, Kaewpin was able to lead a charge to steal the third set for Nakornnont.

Come the fourth set, both teams were neck-in-neck but Kaewpin was pulled out in the match after suffering a bad landing at 4-3, in favor of Nakhon Ratchasima.

Nakhon Ratchasima was able to pull away as Paat delivered an ace at 22-17, and never looked back to seal their first win of the season.

Karina Krause, Sirima Manakij, and Nokyoong Paowana were also instrumental as they drew ample contributions for Nakhon Ratchasima.

With the loss, Nakornnont fell in a three-way tie in second place with Diamond Food and Khon Kaen Star with identical 2-1 records, while Supreme Chonburi remained atop the league with a 3-0 record.

Paat will be spending New Year’s break in Thailand before seeing action once again against Black Power VC (0-2) on January 9, 2021, Sunday.
