The team will be packed with the same players who won the Mobile Legends Southeast Asia Cup—Joshua “Chaknu” Mangilog, Duane “Kelra” Pillas, Renz “Renzio” Cadua, Kielvj “Kielvj” Hernandez, and Patrick “E2MAX” Caidic.

And two more rookies were added to the team in replacement of the void left by Robert Remar “Hito” Candoy and Dian “Dian” Felix Cruz.

“Hey, Omega fam! We have 2 MPL Rookies that we’re proud to introduce for the upcoming MPL Philippines Season 9! Let’s all welcome OUTPLAYED and Amethyst,” Omega wrote in the post.

The two additions are the former SV Empire and Amihan esports gold laner Jhonville “OUTPLAYED” Villar and former Origen Esports midlaner/support Jefferson “Amethyst” Santos who is expected to boost the core of Omega.

Completing the roster are Billy “Z4pnu” Alfonso, Romiere “Allidap” Padilla and Dean Christian “Raizen” Sumagui.

The team is looking to turn the waves down in Season 9 after falling short last season against Blacklist International in the lower bracket finals.
