Nexplay announced the new development on their team’s Facebook Page.

“To one of the best tankers in MPL, thank you Yawi Esports! We are grateful that Nexplay served as your breakthrough in the MLBB scene. Aside from the record we achieve, we appreciate your contribution to NXPE!,” the post stated.

“We’re proud of your transformation and we, as well as your fans, can’t wait to witness where your MLBB journey will take you next! We wish you all the best, III-DOLO!”

Yawi who served the Nexplay for three seasons is best known for its trio team up with John Paul “H2wo” Salonga and Renejay “RENEJAY” Barcase.

With such heartbreak to the MLBB Community, Yawi is the second Filipino Mobile Legends player to quit from an ML team following Karl “KarlTzy” Nepomuceno’s departure from Bren Esports on Monday.

Nevertheless, Yawi was part of the highest achievement of Nexplay by bagging fourth place which happened in MPL PH Season 8 tallying a KDA of 38, 161, and 262.
