NEXPLAY EVOS SETTLES DISPUTE WITH EX-TEAM MANAGER AFTER ALLEGATIONS OF NON-PAYMENT

Nexplay’s former team manager Baby Ignacio took it to Facebook to reveal mismanagement and non-payment of the organization to which Evos authority already settled.

Two months after leaving the team, Baby Ignacio broke her silence and shared on Facebook the maltreatment she received from Nexplay.

Sobra na, I need to speak,” said Baby Ignacio.

She went on, “I started working sa Nexplay last September 2019 pa. I resigned October 2021. So almost 2+ years na ako na nagtatrabaho sa kanila. At kanina lang, after sending my clearance almost a month ago, NXP financial employee told me na I will receive ZERO. At kahit sa MPLS8 Regular Season Week 1-4 na pinagtrabahuhan ko, ZERO ang makukuha ko.”

Aside from not receiving proper compensation she was entitled, Ignacio shared how things were poorly handled in the organization.

“I resigned dahil sa MENTAL BREAKDOWN,” she explained. “Walang mental or any kind of training na binigay ang NXP sa akin. Sobrang hindi organized. Anraming roles ang hindi na-fifill. Hindi maayos ang pamamalakad. Hindi patas ang trato sa mga lalake at babaeng players. Ayoko yun. Never kong i-totolerate ang ganyan, kahit tanggalin pa nila ako. I fought really hard for my players kahit ikatanggal ko na ang mga ginagawa ko.”

While Ignacio apologized to the previous players under her watch, the 28-year-old esports personality also calls for a better environment within the community.

“Sa mga previous talents naman ng NXP na nag-PM din sakin at umalis sila dahil walang napala sa pagiging NXP talent, I’m so sorry wala ako magawa sa talent side,” she wrote. “Pero naka-close ko kayo. Naintindihan ko kayo. At alam kong di kayo naalagaan ng maayos.”

“PLEASE DON’T DO THIS TO YOUR EMPLOYEES/PLAYERS/TALENTS. Maawa kayo. Don’t let your employees’ mental health suffer para lang sa kapakanan ng kumpanya niyo. Don’t hire too much people if you can’t take care of them.”

However, a week did not last for the Nexplay Evos team to handle the allegations and settle with Ignacio and other parties involved.
