MAC UNLEASHES MAYHEM FOR SMART OMEGA OVER YANGON GALACTICOS TO FORGE A THREE-WAY TIE IN DPC LOWER DIV
A three-way tie was hammered by Smart Omega led by Mac after clinching a victory over Yangon Galacticos, 2-1, in the Dota Pro Circuit 2021: S1-Southeast Asia Lower Division, Thursday evening.
Omega Esports, alongside fellow Filipino squad Cignal Ultra and Army Geniuses, have secured places at the top spot with a similar 2-0 standings.
Mc Nicholson “Mac” Villanueva led the squad in Game One using his Ember Spirit having collected a total of 21,932 net worth that also tallied a superb 16-0-19 kill-death-assist tally from its 40-18 in the kills department.
Omega’s carry Justin “Tino” Grimaldo garnered 9-2-15 stats which accumulated the highest earning of the squad having 25,304 net worth in the 35:44-minute opening match.
In Game Two, the battle has flipped over favoring the Yangon Galacticos which Htut Aung “HAW” Wai spearheaded with his unstoppable Queen of Pain that pumped in 18 kills and 19 assists, and 2 deaths.
Yangon Galacticos carry Min Khant “Young PH” Mg seconded the win with his Phantom Assassin that forged 10 kills, 5 deaths, and 13 assists.
Mac ended with 11 kills and 12 assists against 8 while Tino suffered 9 deaths along with 10 kills and 9 assists but fell short to the Yangon Galacticos.
It was in Game Three that the Omega Esports had circulated a crucial clash in the middle lane which Tino (Troill Warlord) commenced that knocked down on Haw (Ember Spirit) and Zawrain “ZawRain” Sai Aung (Pangolier), respectively.

Mac shines in Game Three that tallied a game-high of 13 kills, three deaths, and 10 assists followed by Tino who added 8 kills, 4 deaths, and 12 assists.
HAW with his Ember Spirit ended with 10 kills, five deaths, and 15 assists but was not sufficient to secure the victory for Myanmar in which case, is now at the last spot with a 2-0 slate.
Omega Esports will now head against Hoyo on February 1, Monday.
