JORDAN HEADING LEADS TAICHUNG WAGOR SUNS TO THIRD STRIGHT WIN

Gilas Pilipinas guard Jordan Heading bolstered five shots of threes giving Taichung Wagor Suns their third straight win in the T1 League in Taiwan.

Taichung outlasted New Taipei CTBC DEA in a seven-deficit score of 99-92 game yesterday.

Heading with a total of 23 points for the team, 15 points coming from the threes with six rebounds and two steals.

The heated game became more visible as Taichung was able to secure the 10 point gap with less than three minutes left on the shot clock in the fourth quarter.

But Taichung held onto the zone and clutched the win with the help of Palestinian import Sani Sakakini who scored 23 points, 17 boards, six assists, five steals, and two blocks followed by American reinforcement Julian Wright’s 18 points.

New Taipei on the other hand suffered to a 7-5 win-loss situation with Cleanthony Early being the main gunner of the team for his 31 points followed by Mohammad Al Bachir Gadiaga’s 20 points.

Taichung will be in action again on January 28 to face Kaohsiung Aquas.
