After years of boosting the UST men’s basketball program, the 69-year-old Lim is in resolution whether to pull out from the program, multiple sources claimed.

“Boss Jimi only supported the team because he wanted to help Coach Aldin [Ayo]. But now that Coach Aldin has resigned, he might pull out his support as well,” shared by a source whose name shall not be disclosed.

At the inception of UAAP Season 82, Lim accepted to lead FMR Corporation taking the role of the main booster of the UST growling tiger program.

With Lim’s help, the UST Gold team continues to bolster as they unleash their might.

Debuting in the PBA D-League and competing in an international crowd like the 2019 NBA 5v5 tournament in Shanghai, China.

His support for the team managed to expand team players by recruiting blue-chippers like St. Clare’s Joshua Fontanilla, TIP’s Bryan Santos, UST High’s Bismarck Lina, and STI-West Negros University’s Aldave Canoy.

The UST growling tigers’ program is taking its time to rebuild their honor and glory as it continues to look for a new tactician to man the bench.
