Go stressed that the success of Filipino athletes in the ongoing Southeast Asian Games demonstrates their determination and passion to bring glory to the country. 

With this, he continued to heap praises on the performance of Filipino athletes. 

“Ako ay nagbibigay-pugay sa inyo. Ang dedikasyon, tapang, at galing na inyong pinamalas ay nagbigay ng malaking karangalan sa bansa. Tunay na kahanga-hanga ang pagpupursige ng ating mga Pilipinong atleta, kaya naman nararapat lamang na sila ay patuloy nating suportahan at tularan,” said Go. 

“I continue to extend my warmest felicitations and utmost support to our Filipino athletes who are currently participating and have bagged medals for the country in the ongoing SEA Games in Hanoi,” he added. 

“Indeed, the achievements and accomplishments of our athletes serve as a source of encouragement and inspiration among Filipinos, and have even brought the country together,” he further said.

The senator promised to continue promoting the welfare of the country’s athletes to restore the Philippines’ glory in sports and thanked them once again for their contributions to nation-building.

“Para sa ating mga huwarang kababayan, ako ay nagpapasalamat sa inyong lahat, lalo na sa inyong walang kapantay na dedikasyon,” said Go. 

“Sama-sama nating ibalik ang dangal ng Pilipinas sa sports, kayo ay nagpapatunay na ang angking galing ng mga Pilipino ay pang world-class na nararapat lamang na pasalamatan at papurihan,” ended the senator.
