Debuting in only the league’s second professional season, the Cargo Movers made its presence felt after missing the first professional season last year, drawing first blood to the Lady Troopers in Pool A.

Kim Kianna Dy led all scorers with 20 points off 15 attacks, four blocks, and one ace, including the game-winning point in the fourth salvo that sealed the win for F2 Logistics

The Cargo Movers bucked on its offensive start that saw the squad easily taking the first two sets but Lady Troopers rallied a late surge with Honey Royse Tubino extending the match to a fourth set.

The Lady Troopers rode this momentum deep into the fourth frame before Aby Maraño, Ara Galang, and Major Baron delivered consecutive points for a 20-17 lead, and never looked back.

Galang finished with double-doubles with 11 markers and 15 digs and Baron added 10 markers while Dawn Macandili led the floor defense with 19 digs and eight receptions.

On the other hand, Royse Tubino led Army with 18 markers, all off attacks, while Morente chipped in nine points.

The F2 Cargo Movers will next face defending champion Chery Tiggo Crossovers on Friday, March 18, at 6 pm while the Army will head against the Choco Mucho Flying Titans in their conference debut at 3 pm that same day.
