The team announced on Monday that Enryu will play the offlane role, while its current captain Rolen Andrei Gabriel “ctm” Ong will be moved to the support role.

Enryu initially played for the team as a stand-in for Prieme Ejay ‘PlayHard-‘ Maque, and eventually replaced the latter after winning 3-1 against Chinese team ‘Dragon’ at the Moon Studio Asian Showdown on Sunday.

They won at least P260,000 at the said tournament.

“Enryu has been in the scene for quite some time now.  Enryu started his career with Poseidon and then joined notable teams like Kingpins Esports, Vice Esports, & South Built Esports. He will be filling in the offlane role while ctm will move to position 4. See you all in the TI10 SEA Qualifier!,” Neon Esports said on its Facebook page.

The offlaner will play his first official match with the team as the position 3 from June 30 to July 3, 2021, in hopes of competing at the $40 million tournament in Stockholm, Sweden in August.

The team will face off Motivate.Trust at the start of the Upper Bracket Round 1 of the qualifiers.
