EDUARDO COSETENG STUNS WITH TWO FASTEST LAP NODS IN BRITISH F4 DEBUT

First-ever Filipino racer to enter the British F4 Eduardo Coseteng of Phinsys By Argenti immediately marked his presence with a remarkable performance in his debut weekend, winning two fastest lap nods.

The 17-year-old racer made it look easy completing P1 in the division and P4 in the overall in the May 8 to May 9 event based in Thruxton Race Circuit, Andover, United Kingdom.

The son of multiple touring car champion Jody Coseteng recently signed with the Argenti Motorsport team for the 2021 F4 British Championship, becoming the first Filipino to grace the British F4.

With his debut over the weekend, he stunned winning two Fastest Lap nods in Races 2 and 3.

Completing his first race of the season, which saw three of its 30 rounds this year, Coseteng is now at 8th place with 14 points overall, and 3rd in the Rookie Cup with 33 points.

In an Instagram post, he shared his excitement for his future races in the prestigious competition. 

“Potential is looking good, mega pace all weekend. Aiming to be at the top step for the next round at Snetterton. Massive thank you to the boys in blue,” he expressed.

The next race is slated in June at Snetterton Circuit in Norwich, UK.

The Filipino teen racer aced the Asian Karting Open Championship (AKOC) junior titles back in 2017, then winning the AKOC’s Formula 125 and Senior X30 classes a year later. 

With his impressive stints, he is a front runner in British, European, and World championships, notably winning the Macau International Kart Grand Prix in 2019.
