Ababou will be bannering the team alongside with court veterans who had stints in the Chooks-to-Go Pilipinas and FIBA 3×3 pro circuit.

Before being drafted at No. 10 in the 2011 PBA Rookie Draft, he played for the University of Santo Tomas, where he had a stellar MVP run.

The 3×3 team of No. 4 Ababou, No. 5 De Chavez, No. 6 Dehesa, and No. 10 Alabanza will be coached by Anton Altamirano.

Given the team’s experience, team manager Gerber Manahan shared that they will be setting high expectations for the team. 

“We believe talaga on our players,” said team manager Gerber Manahan. 

“We’re fans of the PBA and nakita na natin sila maglaro. So sa 3×3, sigurado tayo na maganda ang ipapakita nila kaya mataas ang expectations namin sa kanila,” he added.

Manahan also expressed his excitement for the start of the pro league’s 3×3 event and looked forward to the company’s involvement in the sport’s development in the country.

“We want to reach out to more people with us joining here. Balak din namin to hold tournaments para sa mga barangay and promote sports in the future, so everything just bodes well for us,” he said.

“Mahilig talaga sa sports yung management and since nabigyan kami ng pagkakataon ngayon, we’re just excited for PBA 3×3 to start.”
