Nakhon welcomed Santiago-Manabat in posts on social media on Thursday night.

The 28-year old spiker’s arrival will be a boost to the team that currently holds a 4-3 standing after the first round.

She will be the second import to join Nakhon after her Cherry Tiggo teammate Mylene Paat.

This will be Santiago-Manabat’s third time to be a reinforcement to international teams following her two previous stints with the Toray Arrows in 2018 and with Kurobe AquaFairies in 2019 at Japan V.League.

In a report from Spin.ph, Chery Tiggo team manager Ronwald Dimaculangan reassured that both of the volleybelles will be back for the 2022 edition of the Premier Volleyball League tentatively set on February or March.

“It depends [on how long they will stay in Thailand] but rest assured that they will be back in time for the PVL,” Chery Tiggo team manager Ronwald Dimaculangan said.
