Chery Tiggo clinched the title last season and is now ready to defend the title with Manabat and Paat back from representing Nakhon Ratchasima in the Volleyball Thailand League.

The PVL announced the schedule of the 2022 Open Conference that will span from March 16 to 24, while having pool A and pool B.

All teams from Pool B will advance to the crossover quarterfinals while the fifth-place team from Pool A, which has five teams, will be eliminated; and first and second-ranked teams in each pool will have twice-to-beat advantages in the quarterfinals.

The season opener on March 16 will be between Chery and Cignal at 6 pm; but the former is still uncertain with the participation of reigning MVP Jaja Santiago as she is still currently playing for Saitama Ageo Medics in the Japan V.League.

For now, Crossovers have added Roma Doromal, Czarina Carandang, May Luna, Chin Gual, and Julia Angeles and welcomed back EJ Laure.

Meanwhile, F2 Logistics will make its PVL debut against Black Mamba Army at 3 pm on the same day, and on the following day, Alyssa Valdez and Cremaline will face Mika Reyes and PLDT at 6 pm while Petro Gazz and BaliPure in Pool B will compete at 3 pm.

It will be a must-watch season as Choco Mucho’s lineup includes Des Cheng, Isa Molde, Aduke Ogunsanya, Thang Ponce, Jem Ferrer, and Cherry Nunag, who will face Army on March 18  at 6 p.m. before the Chery Tiggo and F2 Logistics face off.
