The veteran Cortez who formerly played under the banner of the demobilized Motolite expressed her excitement to play again together with her rivalries.

“I feel the warm welcome ng buong F2 family. I never imagined playing alongside rivals. Sobra namin sila paghandaan noon when I was still with Petron and now kasama ko na sila mag-hahanda,” Cortez said.

“It’s always been a dream to be part of a system like Coach Ramil’s,” she added.

Cortez is expected to bring her championship experience back in 2017 to 2019 in the Philippine Superliga with the squad of Petron to the cargo movers.

“Her versatility as an athlete, championship experience, intense passion and vibrant personality make her one good addition!” F2 Logistics wrote on its social media pages.

The 5-foot-11 will huddle on court with Kianna Dy, Aby Marano, Majoy Baron, Dawn Macandili and Kalei Malu.

PVL is expected to happen late June or early July under a bubble format and is also the league debut for F2 Logistics.
