The addition of Coach Dale to the squad was unveiled by Aura in a video that was released on their social media account on Monday.

“Just when you thought you’ve seen everything — you’re wrong. We had someone join us the very last minute. We’re hyped to announce that Coach Dale Official is now a part of our team! He’ll be with us as our strategic coach as we venture through MPL Season 7 and beyond,” the caption read.

Dale had a two-year stint with Smart Omega where he steered the team to its silver medal finish behind Bren Esports during MPL-PH Season Six.

Omega Esports landed also in the grand finals with Dale as the head tactician in The Nationals Season Two, however, lost to Bren in a 2-3 reverse sweep.

The 24-year old coach led the SMART-backed squad during the M2 World Championship where they swept the entire Group B before exiting the competition in a fifth-sixth place finish.

Dale was also the head coach for Team Sibol Mobile Legends during the Southeast Asian Games in 2019 where the team bagged the gold medal against Indonesia.

Aura PH will be bannered by Ashley “Killuash” Cruz, Allen “Greed” Baloy, Christian “Rafflesia” Fajura, Jaypee “Jaypee” Dela Cruz, and with the newly acquired players Mark “Hadess” Lazaro and Benedict “Bennyqt” Gonzales in vying for the top spot in the MPL-PH Season Seven.
