“All good over here. Appreciate all the love and concern over the past 24 hours. I feel well already but have to follow quarantine protocols indefinitely,” Ravena posted on his social media accounts.

The 6-foot-2 guard was reportedly having Covid-like symptoms on Thursday and was isolated and got tested at the medical institution in Toyohashi.

San-En Neo Phoenix, Ravena’s team in his Japan B.League stint, broke the news on Friday regarding his result.

“Our player Thirdy Ravena tested positive for Covid-19,” wrote San-en in a Facebook post.

With Ravena recovering away from home, his family can’t help but feel helpless and concerned regarding the situation.

“Our only worry is mag-isa lang siya kasi doon, wala siyang kasama,” said Bong Ravena, Thirdy’s father.

“Helpless kami ni Mozzy (his wife) kasi hindi naman basta-basta maka-kabiyahe papunta ng Japan dahil first of all yung visa (issue),” the elder Ravena added.

However, the PBA mentor assured that the younger Ravena is being taken care of by his team in Japan and said that he was in constant communication with his son.

Thirdy’s condition has improved as his fever subsided on Friday but he has to remain in quarantine and will be needed to yield a negative result before hitting back on the court.

Ravena will be missing San-En’s game that will resume on December 2 against Shimane Susanoo Magic.

The Filipino stalwart has a stellar performance for his Japan B.League debut earlier this month averaging 12.0 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 1.4 assists in five games.

“Just a reminder that the virus is still out there so let’s not take it for granted. Stay safe everyone! Much love,” said the San-En import.
