The team announced its new signing in their social media accounts on Friday.

“We are proud and excited to welcome you into the team, Aiza! Your leadership, skills, and character will be a boost to our 2021 campaigns! LET’S GET IT!” the post read.

As Maizo-Pontillas joined the Lady Realtors, she will be reunited with her former Petron teammate Mika Reyes.

The former University of Santo Tomas standout won three titles in her stint with Blaze Spikers together with frontline partner Reyes.

Maizo-Pontillas clinched several individual awards which included the 2017 All-Filipino Most Valuable Player, and Best Opposite Spiker in the 2018 and 2019 Invitational Cup, and 2018 All-Filipino Conferences in the PSL.

She also donned the national team jersey that won the bronze medal in the first leg of the 2019 ASEAN Grand Prix in Thailand.

The 32-year old open spiker will be boosting Sta. Lucia’s offense together with MJ Phillips, Pam Lastimosa, Jonah Sabete, and Glaudine Trancoso.

Sta. Lucia is among the three teams remaining in the PSL with F2 Logistics and Cherry Tiggo.

PSL is seeking to hold its All-Filipino Conference in a bubble format, however, no date has yet been given as they await the approval of IATF.
