The Rain or Shine (ROS) club released the 6-foot-3 winger after two years with them.

On Monday afternoon, the Ateneo standout was accompanied by agent PJ Pilares to sign a new contract with Magnolia.

Wong was renowned for his outside shooting and defense for ROS, and is anticipated to contribute to Magnolia’s firepower with Calvin Abueva, Rome Dela Rosa, and Aris Dionisio.

The fifth overall choice in the 2019 regular draft by the Elasto Painters, averaged 1.6 points per game for ROS in his limited action in the PBA Governors’ Cup

However, in his first-ever conference, Wong scored 15 and 12 points in successive games against NorthPort and Alaska on October 18 and 22, respectively, while also making seven three-pointers in both games.
