THE BANGSAMORO Ministry of Basic, Higher and Technical Education pledged to build a 2-storey, 10-classroom building for the Upi Agricultural School in Upi, Maguindanao.

The building is expected to be finished this year.

The project was made possible by the ministry’s School Building Program- Project Management Office.

UAS Vocational School Administrator Sukarno Datukan said that the new building will help them prepare for the resumption of face-to-face classes.

“The construction of school buildings in the region is in line to support the 12-point priority agenda of the MBHTE towards promoting accessibility of quality education and developing schools as a safe space for learning and development,” BMBHTE said on Facebook.

Upi Mayor Ramon Piang Sr. lauded the project which he said signifies BMBHTE’s support for BARMM residents.

“This is the result of the BARMM Government’s commitment for the Bangsamoro people,” Piang said.
