SDO SIARGAO TURNS OVER LEARNING KITS TO 2 SCHOOLS
THE SCHOOLS Division Office in Siargao turned over learning kits and temporary learning spaces to two schools in the island.
The materials from UNICEF were donated to the Sapao National High School in Sta. Monica town and Mabuhay Elementary School in Pilar town which were badly hit by typhoon Odette.
The heads of the recipient schools said that almost all of their facilities and learning materials were ruined by the typhoon.
The Sapao NHS received two sets of 72m2 rectangular TLS, 109 sets of student kits, three sets of teacher’s kits, and two boxes of school-in-a-box.
Meanwhile, the Mabuhay ES received one set of TLS, 47 sets of student kits, five sets of teacher’s kits, and one box of school-in-a-box.
