PRMSU, TESDA IN TALKS FOR POSSIBLE TRAINING PARTNERSHIP

/ 25 July 2021

THE PRESIDENT Ramon Magsaysay State University and the Technical Education Skills and Development Authority Zambales are in talks for a possible partnership to provide training.

PRMSU said officials from TESDA paid a courtesy visit to the university to offer skills development training among the youth in the province.

It said it supports this kind of initiative as the university is an advocate in helping provide better opportunities among the youth.

“As an advocate of quality skills development training among the youth in Zambales, PRMSU is in support of initiatives that will hone their skills to be future and job-ready and provide them better opportunities,” the school said on its Facebook page.

“Among the concerns of the parties are on the possibility of supporting the conduct of diploma programs through sharing of facilities, equipment, policies and human resources; training of faculty; setting up of an assessment center; and opening skills competitions for students that are designed for the new normal,” it added.

PRMSU, meanwhile, partnered with the Zambales Police Provincial Office for a joint campaign against illegal drugs and terrorism.
