OVER 8K LEARNERS RETURN TO SCHOOLS IN COTABATO

/ 11 March 2022

OVER 8,000 students in Cotabato province have returned to schools for face-to-face classes.

These schools were included in the third batch that have been allowed to reopen after passing the health and safety assessment of the Departments of Education and Health, the Cotabato Schools Division Office said.

“This brings to a total of 155 schools now implementing limited face-to-face classes,” it added.

Meanwhile, more than 7,000 learners in Tacloban City have started attending physical classes this week.

“Teachers, parents, and learners have been excited for this return of in person classes after nearly two years of modular learning due to movement restrictions,” Nilo Eder, SDO Tacloban information officer, said.

Education Secretary Leonor Briones earlier reported that at least 4,295 schools are holding limited physical classes.
