OVER 500 STUDENTS GRADUATE FROM ALS
MORE than 500 students from the towns of San Rafael, San Ildefonso and San Miguel in Bulacan have finished the Alternative Learning System Program.
San Rafael Mayor Mark Cholo Violago lauded the implementation of the ALS program, saying it is a platform for Filipinos to continue their education.
He lauded ALS teachers and coordinators for their enthusiasm and dedication.
ALS is a parallel learning system of the Department of Education that provides opportunities for out-of-school youth and adult learners to develop basic and functional literacy skills and to access equivalent pathways to complete basic education.
The mayor said that his scholarship program will give priority to those who want to pursue their college education theory ALS.
