/ 28 January 2022

THE OLONGAPO city government provided laptop to 1,500 teachers to help them in their online classes.

Mayor Rolen Paulino Jr. said that the first batch of 850 teachers received their gadgets. For the second batch, 650 laptops will be distributed.

The project was funded by the local government’s special education fund.

Olongapo City Schools Division Superintendent Leilani Cunanan joined Paulino during the turnover.

“We have been through a lot, especially now that we’re experiencing the new normal. These [computer] units will help a lot in limited face-to-face classes,” Cunanan said.
