THE DEPARTMENT of Science and Technology in Caraga donated equipment to the Agusan del Sur State College of Agriculture and Technology for the establishment of its innovation center.

ASSCAT received two new 3D printers, 3D printer filaments, PCB 3D printer, accessories and supplies, welding machines, a computer set, and electronic supplies and consumables.

These equipment will be used for the  Innovation and Makerspaces or iMake-ASSCAT facility at the newly-built Research and Development Extension building

The project aims to hone engineering skills and innovation through the use of modern technology.

“More equipment will arrive this year and makers-personnel will be trained under the project,” DOST Caraga said.
