THE DEPARTMENT of Education will hold a nationwide tree planting activity on December 6, 2023.

The project is called DepEd 236,000 Trees – A Christmas Gift for the Children.

“Sa tulong ng hands-on activities at practical application ng mga environmental concepts, mabubuo sa mga mag-aaral ang strong sense of responsibility tungo sa environment,” DepEd said.

The Schools Division Office of Cotabato said it is now ready for the nationwide tree planting activity.

“Ang pakikiisang ito ng Sangay ng South Cotabato at mga katuwang nito sa proyekto ng Kagawaran ng Edukasyon ay magsisilbing handog na titiyak sa clean and green environment para sa kabataang Dreamweavers ng lalawigan at sa susunod na henerasyon,” DepEd Tayo South Cotabato said in a post.

SDO-South Cotabato also extended its gratitude to Schools Superintendent SDS Leonardo Balala and Assistant SDS Jasmin Isla YES-O Coordinators, officers and teachers.
