COTABATO SCHOOL GETS NEW COVERED COURT
THE LOCAL government of Cotabato City on July 7 turned over a covered court to the Kiyaab Elementary School.
Cotabato City 3rd District Representative Ma. Alana Samantha Santos led the turnover of the P5-million facility.
Also present during the event were Department of Education Cotabato Schools Division Superintendent Romelito Flores, Matalam Vice Mayor Ralph Ryan Rafael, Matalam Municipal Councilors April Babol and Christopher Baracca, Kiyaab Barangay Chairman Rey Jay Herbilla, Public School District Supervisor Francisco Adenic Jr., Provincial Engineer Espiridion Taladro, Kiyaab Parents Teachers Association President Frederick Cunanan and personnel of the Provincial Engineer’s Office.
Santos said that the new facility will provide comfort to the students during school activities.
KES Principal Ian Tenorio thanked the local government for the new infrastructure.
The provincial government assured that it will continue to partner with DepEd Cotabato Division to ensure that the Cotabato youth will receive quality education.
