THE PEOPLE’S Republic of China donated 200 tablets to seven public elementary schools in Balanga City, Bataan.

China’s Ambassador to the Philippines Huang Xilian handed the tablets to Mayor Francis Garcia and an official of the Department of Education.

Gov. Albert Garcia and Vice Gov. Cris Garcia were present during the signing and distribution of tablets.

The beneficiaries are the E. Bernabe Elementary School, Tanato Elementary School, Cabog-Cabog Elementary School, Tenejero Elementary School, Balanga Elementary School, Cataning Elementary School, and Cupang Elementary School.

The Chinese embassy officials were serenaded by a children’s choir from the Magbukun tribe.

They also watched short presentations on the public-private partnership initiative, provincial and city tourism, the Mount Samat Flagship Tourism Enterprise Zone and Bataan investment.
