CHED CAR TO TAP FIELD STUDENTS TO TEACH ELEMENTARY LEARNERS

/ 4 March 2022

THE COMMISSION on Higher Education in the Cordillera Administrative Region will tap education students to assist elementary learners with their studies.

The project aims to make the field study students as mentors and tutors to select learners in the region.

CHED-CAR said that this is to ensure that elementary students will continue learning amid the pandemic and while face-to-face classes remain suspended.

“This is to ensure that these would-be teachers in the various TEIs of the region will help promote and make the ‘No Cordillera Child Left Behind’ a reality,” the agency said.

The agencies that will help CHED with the implementation of the project are the Department of Health, Department of the Interior and Local Government and the Department of Education.

Representatives from the said institutions met at Saint Louis University for the signing of the Regional Joint Memorandum Circular.
