BAR examinees in Cebu were assured of stable power supply when they take the test on February 4 and 6.

Councilor Joel Garganera, deputy chief implementor of the Emergency Operations Center, said that the Visayan Electric gave assurances that electricity will be stable in three testing centers in Cebu.

“I have talked with Anton Perdices of VECO and they have a standby crew in the areas of each university just in case something happens. They assured no power interruption will occur during the exams,” Garganera said.

Stable electricity is crucial because the exams will be conducted digitally.

Garganera said that only authorized Supreme Court personnel and the examinees will be allowed inside the examination areas.

Residents in the barangays where the universities are located, as well as surrounding barangays, have been ordered to keep noise to a minimum during the two-day exams.
