The Provincial government of Cavite has imposed a ban on the use of videoke and loud devices at any time of the day.

Cavite Governor Jonvic Remulla earlier limited the use of videoke machines from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

However, he made the ban total to help students focus on their online classes.

Cavite Police Director Marlon Santos said that Cavite residents may file complaints on the use of the singing devices in their neighborhood and they will respond accordingly.

“Para bigyang-daan ‘yong mga estudyante natin na makapag-aral online. Once we receive any complaint na gumagamit ng videoke, we will respond accordingly,” Santos said.

From July 8 to July 13, authorities have warned around 200 residents caught using videoke in the province.

Violators will be fined P500 on the first and second offense and P1,000 on the third offense.
