BICOL OFFICIALS SUSPEND CLASSES
THE INCLEMENT weather prompted some local officials to suspend classes in Bicol Region and other areas on Thursday, January 5, 2023.
Naga City Mayor Son Legacion suspended classes in pre-school to senior high school.
The suspension of classes in college were left to the discretion of school administrators.
The Legazpi City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office also announced the suspension of classes in all levels in public and private schools.
“Due to moderate to at times heavy rains being experienced in the City of Legazpi, which might bring flooding or flash floods and landslides, all classes at all levels, public-private, are now suspended until lifted,” it said.

Bicol
• Camalig, Albay — all levels (public and private)
• Guinobatan, Albay — all levels (public and private)
• Camarines Sur — all levels (public and private)
Laguna
• Bay — all levels (public and private)
• Cabuyao — all levels (public and private)
• Mabitac — all levels (public and private)
• Majayjay — all levels (public and private)
• Paete — all levels (public and private)
• Pangil — all levels (public and private)
• Santa Maria — all levels (public and private)
• Siniloan — all levels (public and private)
Rizal
• Teresa — all grade levels (public and private)
• Tanay — all levels (public and private, afternoon classes).
