8 SCHOOLS IN CEBU READY FOR PILOT RUN OF F2F CLASSES

/ 23 October 2021

THE EIGHT public schools in Cebu that were included in the pilot run of limited face-to-face classes on November 15 are ready to start physical classes, a top education official in Region 7 said.

The schools included in the pilot run are Basak Elementary School in Samboan, Mahanlud Elementary School in Malabuyoc, Cabagdalan Elementary School in Balamban, Luyongbaybay Elementary School in Bantayan, Cañang-Marcelo Luna National High School in Oslob, Busay National High School in Moalboal, Pilar National High School in Pilar, Camotes Island and Siocon Elementary School in Bogo City.

Salustiano Jimenez, regional director of the Department of Education in Central Visayas, said that DepEd-7 visited the schools to assess their readiness to conduct limited F2F classes even if they already passed the evaluation of DepEd’s central office.

Jimenez said that all of the 30 schools that passed evaluation also developed their own “pilot restricted face-to-face classrooms implementation plan.”

The limited F2F classes will start on November 15 in 30 schools in Bicol, Negros Island and Mindanao.
