AUTHORITIES arrested two teachers who sold shabu to undercover police agents in Cordon, Isabela and Iguig, Cagayan.

D. Palpallatoc, 38, was caught along Sta. Maria St. in Barangay Malapat.

Seize from Palpallatoc were a sachet containing shabu, a cellular phone and a motorcycle.

Authorities said that Palpallatoc has been under surveillance for some time.

“May mga iba na nag-lie low tapos naging active sila uli, akala siguro hindi na sila mamatyagan ng authorities,” a personnel of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency said.

Meanwhile, joint operatives of the PDEA and  the Philippine National Police also arrested a public school teacher in Iguig, Cagayan on May 2.

F. Sedano Jr., 52, was caught selling six pieces of heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing white crystalline weighing 1 gram.

Sedano was considered a high value target being a government employee, the PDEA said.

The illegal drugs he sold to a poseur buyer had an estimated market value of P6,800.
