2 SCHOOLS IN GENSAN CHOSEN FOR F2F CLASSES
TWO schools in General Santos City were chosen for the holding of limited face-to-face classes.
These are the Aspang Elementary School and Aspang High School in Barangay San Jose.
Romelito Flores, superintendent of the Department of Education’s City Division, said that the two schools were selected because of their readiness to conduct limited face-to-face classes.
The area where the schools are located had not reported a single case of Covid19.
The schools have enough classrooms to accommodate 15 to 20 learners. They also installed hand washing and sanitation facilities.
Flores said the learners will be divided into two groups, with one attending the pilot classes on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and the other on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.
“The main considerations are the regular wearing of face masks and face shields for everyone, and the no-entry policy in the school premises will be strictly implemented,” Flores added.
