EDUCATION Secretary Sara Duterte-Carpio urged graduates to aspire to achieve their dreams despite the difficulties and challenges they encounter.

She told graduates of the Unibersidad de Dagupan in Dagupan City and Navotas Polytechnic College in Navotas City to always look at the bright side.

“Hindi po magiging madali ang buhay. Kahit na hindi ito magiging madali, magiging puno ito ng mga oportunidad kung matuto kayo tumingin sa positibong aspeto sa buhay… and always look at the brighter side of things,” Duterte-Carpio told graduates of the NPC.

She urged the graduates to continue valuing education as one of the ways to fulfill their dreams in life.

“Katulad ng isang hardin, dapat nating alagaan ang mga pangarap na ating itinanim hanggang sa ito ay mamulaklak at lumago,” she said.

“Ngunit dahil may mga pangarap na hindi natutupad, sinabi ko sa mga nagsipagtapos na dapat hindi sila mawalan ng pag-asa,” she added.
