THE UP Open University and the Commission on Higher Education will organize a training pro-gram for teachers with the theme, “Flexible Teaching and Learning: The Seamless Shift from Face-to-face to Distance Education Mode of Instruction.”

“The training program, which consists of four modules, aims to provide teachers with additional knowledge and skills that will enhance their preparations for the kind of teaching and learning appropriate for the new normal in the time of the Covid19 pandemic,” CHED said in a statement.

“The training program has been organized to enable participants to affirm the appropriateness of the mode of instructional delivery, evaluate and finalize the course package appropriate for the mode of instructional delivery selected, and deliver the course in the selected mode of teaching and learning effectively,” CHED added.

CHED is reminding the higher education institutions that their heads must first recommend the training participants to the UP Open University by sending the educator’s name, position, and email address to [email protected].

The training program will start on September 1 and will end on September 15, 2020.
