UNIVERSITY OF SAN CARLOS GRADUATE TOPS CHEMICAL ENGINEER LICENSURE EXAM
A GRADUATE of the University of San Carlos topped the Chemical Engineer Licensure Examination given this month by the Professional Regulation Commission.
Richmond Caya Pepito led the successful examinees with a rating of 86.90 percent.
Shania Angel Meca Montesa of Technological Institute of the Philippines-Manila came in second with a rating of 86.60, followed by Angelica Floresca Jao of University of the Philippines Diliman with 86.20.
Christelle Paula Cortez Batac of the De La Salle University-Manila placed fourth with 86.10 and Nomer Recio Mendoza of UP Los Banos ranked fifth with 85.90.
They were followed by Kobi Christian Sy Go of UP Diliman (85.30); John Vincent Mata Jose of DLSU (85.10); and Ma. Andrea Lisa Adaban Umali of UP Diliman (85).
Completing the top 10 list are Sabrina Nicole Tejano Blanco of UP Diliman (84.90); and Reinell Godin Guevarra of USC (84.20).
The PRC said that 585 out of 1,032 passed the examination held in Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, and Legazpi.
The top performing schools with 10 or more examinees with at least 80% passing percentage are UP Diliman (100); USC (100); UP Los Banos (95.45); DLSU (88.89); and UP Visayas (82.76).
