THE UNITED Nations Children’s Fund urged parents to support their children who are going through tough times.

Unicef said that while children are growing up, they face challenges that might be a hurdle to their growth, especially amid the Covid19 pandemic.

Causes of struggle might be schoolwork, housework or other activities and parents can help their children cope by listening to them.

Spending time with their peers who may be going through the same rough patch will also help, the UN agency said.

It added that encouraging teens to share their feelings, supporting them during stressful times will be of great help to them.
