REP. ATAYDE REAFFIRMS COMMITMENT TO PUSHING LAWS THAT WILL BENEFIT FILIPINOS
Quezon City First District Representative Arjo Atayde reaffirmed his commitment to pushing for laws that directly benefit Filipinos.
In his State of the District Address on Monday, attended by local officials, Atayde highlighted his efforts to craft laws that make a positive impact in people’s lives.
“Tinitiyak natin na may direktang epekto ito sa buhay ng bawat Pilipino. I have worked to ensure that our laws protect workers and consumers, strengthen our healthcare system, and safeguard our economy against abuse and exploitation,” Atayde said, reflecting on the bills he authored during his first term.

* Internet Transactions Act
* SIM Registration Act
* New Government Procurement Act
* Ease at Paying Taxes Act
* Regional Specialty Centers Act
* Magna Carta of Filipino Seafarers
* Anti-Agricultural Economic Sabotage Act
* Ligtas Pinoy Centers Act
* Student Loan Payment Moratorium During Disasters and Emergencies Act
He also mentioned bills that are still pending, such as the Expanded Violence Against Women and Children Act, the Magna Carta for Barangay Health Workers, the Adolescent Pregnancy Prevention Act, the Magna Carta for Out-of-School Youth, and the SOGIE Equality Bill.
In addition, Atayde expressed plans to elevate the Quezon City General Hospital to a medical center to improve healthcare services for his constituents.
Atayde has successfully passed 46 bills into law, filed 176 bills, co-authored 65, and introduced 78 house resolutions.
He emphasized that his slogan “Aksyon Agad” is not just a campaign phrase, but a concrete response to the needs and concerns of his constituents.
“Ang Aksyon Agad ay hindi lamang isang slogan, ito ay isang konkretong tugon na batay sa tunay na datos at hinaing ng ating mga kababayan,” Atayde said, underscoring his commitment to addressing the needs of his community with urgency and action. (END)
