PRIVATE SCHOOLS READY FOR F2F CLASSES
PRIVATE schools are ready for the implementation of face-to-face classes, the Coordinating Council of Private Educational Associations said.
Cocopea Chairman Anthony Tamayo said that member schools have been preparing for the conduct of in-person classes for months.
“In general, we are ready to comply with the directive of the President to go back to full face-to-face classes,” Tamayo said.
“In fact, as soon as the alert level went down to alert level 1 in March, we started preparing already,” he added.
Tamayo said members of the group support the move of the government to implement face-to-face classes nationwide by November.
However, the group wants private schools to have the “flexibility” to offer hybrid or full online classes if it is mandated in September.
