THE PROFESSIONAL Regulation Commission extended the deadline for the filing of applications for Medical Technologist Licensure Examinations.

The filing was originally scheduled from July 21 to 23 but the PRC moved it to August.

The PRC extended the deadline after it received a letter from Centro Escolar University Dean of the School of Medical Technology Charito Bermido requesting for an extension.

It said that the extension was approved because of several reasons such as the declaration of July 20 as a regular holiday, intermittent connectivity in areas affected by inclement weather, and limited mobility in areas under strict quarantine, all of which made it difficult for examinees to submit credentials to the commission.

The MTLE will be conducted on August 21 and 22 in the National Capital Region, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legaspi, Lucena, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga.
