THE PHILIPPINE Normal University is the best school for education majors in the Philippines based on the assessment of top universities by EduRank.

The university scored high for its teacher education programs, establishing its reputation as a premier institution for teacher training in the Philippines.

It also ranked 166th in Asia and 1,051st in the world for education.

“A graph of 1.81K citations received by 495 academic papers made by 3 universities in the Philippines was used to calculate publications’ ratings, which then were adjusted for release dates and added to final scores,” EduRank said.

PNU also ranked 2nd in mathematics education, 4th in mathematics, 5th in psychology, and 9th in social sciences.

For the overall ranking, the university secured the 22nd spot out of the 299 higher education institutions in the country.

EduRank is an independent organization that evaluates and ranks universities based on various factors such as academic programs and research impacts.

It uses proprietary database with an index of 44,909,300 scientific publications and 1,237,541,960 citations to rank universities across 246 research topics.
