THE PHILIPPINE National Police Academy has ended its Instructor’s Development Course.

Brig. Gen. Jack Wanky, PNPA chief of staff and executive officer, led the closing ceremony of the course, which aims to equip instructors with necessary skills and attitude that will improve their teaching methods.

In his message, Wank, on behalf of the PNPA Director, PMaj. Gen. Rhoderick Armamento, expressed his utmost appreciation and heartfelt thanks to the PNP Training Service led by PBrig. Gen. Bernard M. Banac for sponsoring the IDC for PNPA Instructors.

The PNP Training Service Instructor Development Course consists of several components that provide training in course management as well as instruction skills that instructors will find useful.

During the course, both in-house and guest instructors were ranked based on qualification, experience and level of competency. The PNPA provided instructors with high-quality educational materials, well-organized lesson outlines and relevant training in how to teach.

The course is part of efforts to improve the curriculum of the Bachelor of Science in Public Safety.
