PGH PREPARES FOR VACCINATION OF MINORS
THE PHILIPPINE General Hospital is ready for the vaccination of minors aged 12 to 17 against Covid19.
Dr. Jonas Del Rosario, PGH spokesman, said that the hospital has prepared a group of vaccinators for the rollout on October 15.
“Meron kaming vaccination team, marami po kaming vaccinators,” Del Rosario said.
The Department of Health earlier said that the PGH is among the pilot sites for the vaccination rollout, including Philippine Heart Center and Philippine Children’s Medical Center.
Vaccine czar and National Task Force against COVID-19 chief implementer Carlito Galvez Jr. said that an additional 2.7 million doses of Covid19 vaccines will arrive this month.
“We already have enough supplies for the pilot implementation,” Galvez said.
“We can definitely do that. We want to open up our schools and by vaccinating our children, we can attain that,” he added.
