THE PHILIPPINE Charity Sweepstakes Office conducted a medical mission at the Pasig Science High School in Barangay Maybunga.

A total of 168 patients received free health care services such as medical consultation with free medicines and electrocardiogram procedure for patients with different heart conditions.

For the past 88 years, PCSO has beenl providing health-related programs to Filipinos by offering free medical check-up and medicines for indigent and marginalized sectors.

Menjie Eustaquio, 41, and her 7-year-old son were among the beneficiaries. She was also given free medicines for her daily maintenance and vitamins for her son.

“Marami pong salamat sa libreng konsultasyon. Sa wakas mapapatingnan ko na ang aking sakit na goiter at maihihingi ko na ng libreng vitamins ang aking anak. Maraming salamat po sa PCSO dahil napakarami nyo pong natutulungan,” she said.

Daniel Novelo, 73, also thanked PCSO.

“Napakalaking tulong po nitong libreng check-up at libreng gamot lalo na sa kagaya kong senior citizen, kaya lubos po akong nagpapasalamat sa PCSO. Mabuhay po kayo,” he said.
