PALACE LAUDS STUDENTS WHO WON IN MATH AND CHEMISTRY OLYMPIADS

MALACAÑANG lauded Filipino high school students who won in the Mathematics and Chemistry Olympiads held in July and August.

Palace Spokesman Harry Roque said these achievements are proof of Filipinos’ talent and intelligence.

“Binabati natin ang Team Philippines sa kanilang four silver medals at two bronze medals sa katatapos na 62nd International Mathematical Olympiad hosted by Russia,” Roque said.

“Binabati rin natin ang Team Philippines na nag-uwi ng dalawang silver medals at isang bronze medal sa katatapos na 53rd International Chemistry Olympiad hosted by Japan,” he added.

Immanuel Josiah Balete of St. Stephen’s High School, Raphael Dylan Dalida of Philippine Science High School main campus, Steven Reyes of Saint Jude Catholic School and Bryce Ainsley Sanchez of Grace Christian College won silver medals at the 62nd IMO.

Meanwhile, Sarji Elijah Bona of De La Salle University Senior High School and Vincent de la Cruz of Valenzuela City School of Mathematics and Science bagged bronze medals.

Angelo Gelacio of the PSHS main campus and Nathan Wayne Ariston of the PSHS-Central Mindanao campus each won a silver medal at the 53rd IMO while Aames Juriel Morales of DLSU-Integrated School Manila secured the bronze medal.
