NAVOTAS GRADUATING STUDENTS JOIN LABOR EDUCATION SEMINAR

/ 10 August 2026

GRADUATING students of Navotas Polytechnic College participated in a Labor Education for Graduating Students seminar aimed at preparing them for their transition from school to the workplace.

Navotas City Mayor John Rey Tiangco said the activity, led by the city’s Public Employment Service Office, provided the students with essential information on their rights and responsibilities as future workers.

Tiangco emphasized the importance of equipping graduating students with the knowledge and confidence they need as they enter a new stage of their lives and pursue employment opportunities.

The seminar also helped the students gain a better understanding of workplace expectations, including their responsibilities and basic labor rights.

The mayor said the Navotas City Government will continue to support young Navoteños through programs that help them become job-ready, capable, and better prepared for their future careers.

The initiative is part of the city government’s continuing efforts to provide education, employment support, and opportunities for Navoteños as they pursue their professional goals.
